Hitco Electricals will make its first appearance at ADIPEC 2026, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, running from 2 to 5 November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The debut also marks the Noida-based manufacturer’s formal entry into the oil and gas sector, arriving in the same year the company, which brands itself as “Redefining Thermal Solutions”, marks fifty years in business.
Founded in 1976 by Rajender Verma and headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Hitco designs and manufactures industrial process heating solutions, expanding in its fiftieth year from a five-decade base in plastics processing heating into Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Aerospace, Defence, Pharmaceuticals and Power Generation. Kkanul Verma shares his views on entering Oil & Gas, a new integrated heating-and-control system, and why ADIPEC 2026 is the company’s first-ever appearance at the show.
“Hitco was founded in 1976 as a pioneer in industrial heating solutions for the plastics processing industry, with a strong focus on power-saving and custom-engineered systems,” said Kkanul Verma, Executive Director at Hitco Electricals Pvt Ltd. “By the early 2000s, we had become a trusted partner to leading OEMs across India, known for delivering precision heating solutions tailored to specific applications. In 2020, we expanded into the commercial and domestic heating segments.
Now, backed by fifty-plus years of technical excellence, we operate two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Noida spanning over 50,000 square feet, including a dedicated tubular heater unit, and we’re proudly entering high-demand sectors such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Aerospace, Defence, Pharmaceuticals and Power Generation.”
The company was founded by Rajender Verma out of a 1,100-square-foot factory in Delhi, and is today chaired by Vikas Verma, who joined in 1980 and has led Hitco since 1997. Its manufacturing base now includes one high-end atmospheric furnace, one regular furnace and seven filling machines, supporting what the company describes as high-capacity, quality-driven production. Hitco holds ISO 9001:2015, CE and Indian Standards (BIS/ISI) certification; ATEX and IECEx approval, the credentials most closely watched for hazardous-area equipment in the Gulf, are listed by the company as being pursued, with designs already aligned to those standards.
At ADIPEC, that history translates into a wide product showcase: air, oil and water circulation and immersion heaters, super heaters, indirect-type oil and chemical heaters, thermic fluid heaters, high-density cartridge heaters, tubular and furnace heaters, Teflon-coated chemical immersion heaters, heat trace cable, insulation jackets, band heaters and air duct heaters. “These solutions are built to deliver reliability, safety and long-term performance in harsh and hazardous environments, both onshore and offshore,” Verma said, pointing to the industry’s need for precise, application-specific temperature control, compliance with ATEX and flameproof requirements in hazardous zones, and with Hitco’s newer integrated systems- a way around the challenge of coordinating heaters and control panels across multiple vendors by offering one engineered solution from a single, accountable partner.
“Our key introduction this year is our Integrated Process Heating and Control Systems, developed in collaboration with Adroit Engineering & Beyond. It combines our precision heaters with ATEX-compliant control panels for Zone 1 and Zone 2, PLC-based multi-loop PID regulation, VFD-controlled circulation and load management, and integrated instrumentation and safety interlocks, all IEC/IS compliant with FAT support”, shares Kkanul Verma. It covers the complete scope from heater design and sizing to control philosophy, panel manufacturing, testing and site support”, adds Kkanul. The system targets oil and gas projects onshore and offshore, refineries, petrochemicals, process plants, power and utilities, and other hazardous-area applications.
Hitco has no prior ADIPEC history. “This will be our first time at ADIPEC,” Verma said. “It marks Hitco’s formal entry into the oil and gas sector after five decades of serving the plastics processing industry, and we’re excited for this debut.” He frames the show as a platform rather than an endpoint: “ADIPEC gives us a strong platform to establish Hitco as a globally recognised, trusted brand in the oil and gas sector, and to connect with operators, EPCs, refineries and process plants across onshore and offshore projects. Our goal is to earn the same trust and long-term relationships in this space that we’ve built with leading OEMs in the plastics industry over the years, and the next step is to build on this ADIPEC introduction with deeper engagement and partnerships across the energy sector.”
ADIPEC 2026 ranks among the world’s largest gatherings for the oil, gas and wider energy industry. The 2025 edition drew more than 205,000 participants, including a single-day record of over 70,000 visitors. Machine Maker, covering ADIPEC on the ground for a fourth consecutive year, is the show’s Official Media Partner from India and will track Hitco’s participation, along with that of other Indian exhibitors, through pre-show, on-ground, and post-event coverage.
