Wohlhaupter is set to participate in AMB 2026, taking place from 15–19 September 2026 at Messe Stuttgart, Germany, where the precision tooling specialist will showcase its approach to bore machining through digital measurement technologies, modular tooling systems and a comprehensive range of precision boring solutions. The company will be present at Hall 1, Booth 1B44.

With almost 100 years of experience in precision boring, Wohlhaupter has built its portfolio around the requirements of manufacturers working with demanding holemaking applications. Today, the company combines this established expertise with digitally enabled tooling designed to provide greater control and measurement during machining.

At AMB 2026, one of the key areas of focus will be Wohlhaupter’s range of boring tools with digital display. The company offers fine boring tools with internal opto-electronic traverse measurement, along with the 3E Tech+ external digital readout for standard and special tools. According to Wohlhaupter, its portfolio represents the world’s largest range of boring tools with digital display, covering an extensive diameter range from Ø 0.4 mm to 3255 mm.

This broad range allows the company to address very different bore machining requirements, from small-diameter precision applications through to large-diameter machining. The emphasis is on giving manufacturers access to tooling and measurement solutions suited to the specific requirements of their applications.

“Visitors to our booth will be able to experience the breadth of Wohlhaupter’s holemaking solutions and see how digital measurement and modular tooling can be applied in practice. From drilling, fine boring through to large-diameter applications, we want to demonstrate practical and reliable solutions while giving visitors the opportunity to discuss their specific machining requirements with our team,” said Frank-M. Wohlhaupter, Managing Director, Wohlhaupter GmbH.

The company’s presence at AMB will extend beyond its digitally measured boring tools. Visitors to Hall 1, Booth 1B44 will also be able to explore a wider precision tooling portfolio covering customized boring bars, rough boring tools, fine boring tools, finishing tools, inserts, modular tooling systems, boring and facing heads, drills as well as reamers and roller burnishing tools.

Modular tooling remains an important part of Wohlhaupter’s offering. As a specialist in modular tool systems, the company provides configurations that can be adapted to different machining applications and requirements. This approach allows manufacturers to address variations in bore dimensions, component geometries and machining conditions through flexible tooling solutions.

The digital measurement capabilities add another dimension to this tooling approach. Wohlhaupter’s fine boring tools with internal opto-electronic traverse measurement and its 3E Tech+ external digital readout provide direct measurement capabilities for different tooling applications. Together, these technologies form part of the company’s wider focus on precision and control in bore machining.

Wohlhaupter’s portfolio is also backed by its long-standing “Made in Germany” manufacturing heritage. The company describes itself as the market leader for modular tool systems in Germany and offers its complete catalogue programme of precision tooling solutions from stock.

At AMB 2026, this combination of experience, digital measurement and modular tooling will give visitors the opportunity to explore solutions across a broad spectrum of bore machining applications. The focus will be on practical machining requirements and how the right tooling configuration and measurement approach can support precision boring operations.

With the global metalworking industry gathering at Messe Stuttgart, Wohlhaupter’s participation will provide manufacturers, machining specialists, engineers and technical decision-makers with an opportunity to explore its precision boring technologies and discuss their individual application requirements.

Wohlhaupter will be at Hall 1, Booth 1B44 during AMB 2026 from 15–19 September 2026, showcasing precision boring, digital measurement and modular tooling solutions for modern holemaking and precise boring operations.
