Built in Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad) for industries beyond ZECHA’s own range, ZECTEC brings its high-performance drills and end mills to Europe for the first time, presented from the ZECHA stand at AMB 2026. ZECTEC covers 20 drill series and 22 end mill series, and more than 2,000 items in total in diameters from Ø 0.05 mm to 16.0 mm, catering to wide range of high precision machining applications.
ZECTEC, the premium, high-performance precision tools brand owned by Zecha India, will make its European debut at AMB 2026, the International Exhibition for Metal Working, running September 15–19 at Messe Stuttgart (Halle 1, Stand 1E10). ZECTEC is built specifically to serve industry applications outside ZECHA’s precision tools range, and the brand is emerging as a stand-alone identity tied to the ZECHA Group rather than an extension of it.
“ZECTEC is a premium, high-performance range, and the results back that positioning up: our tool lines have generally exceeded international benchmarks in aerospace applications, across the metallic material ranges most common in that industry”, shared Vidhu Nevatia, Director of Zecha India. ZECTEC traces its roots to 1980, when the business was founded as Dagger Master Tool Industries, built in Sambhajinagar to manufacture high-performance cutting tools that Indian manufacturers had previously been forced to import.
The company moved into metal cutting tools in the mid-1990s, entered an Indo-German joint venture with ZECHA in 2006 to absorb European grinding and manufacturing technology, and was renamed Zecha Precision Tools Limited in 2019. Today, ZECTEC covers 20 drill series and 22 end mill series, and more than 2,000 items in total in diameters from Ø 0.05 mm to 16.0 mm, serving aerospace, medical ortho-implant and dental implant manufacturers, and automotive, defence, energy, electronics, and watchmaking customers.
ZECTEC‘s international rollout has moved quickly: after its India debut, the brand was showcased in Southeast Asia at Metalex Bangkok, and its worldwide market launch was announced on August 27, 2026. For Europe, ZECHA Hartmetall-Werkzeugfabrikation GmbH will serve as ZECTEC’s master dealer for Germany and the Benelux region.
AMB 2026 marks ZECTEC’s first showing on European soil, presented from the ZECHA stand at Halle 1, Stand 1E10 alongside ZECHA’s own AMB 2026 line-up, though as a distinct brand with its own catalogue and identity. “Europe is where precision manufacturing sets the benchmark, and that is exactly why this matters,” Mr Nevatia said of the brand’s European debut. “ZECTEC has earned its own results in the toughest applications we serve, and AMB is where we put that in front of European manufacturers directly for the first time.”
