India’s electronics ecosystem is entering a phase where design, engineering and manufacturing are increasingly converging, creating demand for components that combine performance, reliability and application-specific engineering. At electronica India and productronica India 2026, Standex Electronics will bring together its three technology platforms: Standex Detect, Standex Edge and Standex Grid—to showcase solutions spanning precision sensing and switching, power magnetics and power conversion, and current and voltage measurement for energy infrastructure.
The exhibition will take place from 16–18 September 2026 at BIEC, Bengaluru, where visitors can meet the Standex Electronics team at Hall 5, Booth E95 and explore technologies developed for applications across automotive and EV, industrial automation, semiconductor and electronics test, medical electronics, renewable energy, energy storage, power electronics, appliances and grid infrastructure.
A key focus at the booth will be Standex Detect, which brings together reed switches, reed relays, Hall-effect and reed-based position and proximity sensing, speed and direction sensing, fluid-level sensing, PhotoMOSFET relays and optocouplers. The portfolio also includes relay technologies for demanding test and measurement applications, including semiconductor ATE, high-density switching, hipot and insulation testing, cable and harness testing, burn-in systems and EV/BMS validation.
Standex Electronics will place particular emphasis on high-voltage and high-density reed-relay switching, reflecting the evolving requirements of modern test platforms. As test systems operate at higher voltages and increasingly dense channel configurations, engineers must manage factors including leakage, parasitic capacitance, settling time, isolation and measurement accuracy. Standex Detect’s high-voltage relay portfolio is designed for applications such as dielectric testing, cable and harness testing, semiconductor and power-electronics testing, burn-in systems and EV/BMS validation.
The company will also highlight sensing technologies for EV and energy systems, including position and proximity sensing, fluid monitoring, battery-management functions, isolation monitoring, charging infrastructure and power conversion. These applications align closely with the growing electrification and localisation of automotive, industrial and energy technologies in India.
Alongside Standex Detect, the booth will showcase the capabilities of Standex Edge in power magnetics and power conversion, and Standex Grid in current and voltage measurement and energy infrastructure. Standex Grid provides instrument-transformer and grid solutions, including current and voltage transformers for low- and medium-voltage applications supporting power distribution, measurement, monitoring and grid modernisation.
Together, the three platforms address complementary requirements across the electronics and electrification value chain: sensing and switching system activity through Detect, enabling power conversion through Edge, and supporting measurement and reliability across energy infrastructure through Grid. This breadth reflects the changing requirements of industries where electrification, automation, higher operating voltages and greater system complexity are shaping product development.
Standex Electronics is also bringing its application-engineering and customisation capabilities to the exhibition. The company works with customers from the early stages of development, considering factors such as electrical load, switching conditions, sensing geometry, environmental requirements, packaging, certifications, production volumes and cost targets. Depending on the application, solutions can range from standard products to customised sensing geometry, cable and termination options, packaging and relay or sensor configurations.
For Indian OEMs, Tier suppliers and equipment manufacturers, this approach is supported by Standex Electronics’ local manufacturing and engineering presence in the Chennai/Sriperumbudur region, together with the company’s global design, testing and manufacturing network. The combination enables Standex to engage with customers locally while drawing on global engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
India’s transition towards a deeper electronics design and manufacturing ecosystem is creating opportunities across electric mobility, semiconductor and electronics testing, industrial automation, renewable energy, energy storage, power electronics and grid modernisation. Standex Electronics sees growing scope to engage with Indian engineering teams at the design-in stage and support the development of products for both domestic and global markets.
“India is becoming an increasingly important centre for electronics design and manufacturing, with strong momentum across electric mobility, industrial automation, semiconductor and electronics test, renewable energy and advanced power systems. At electronica India & productronica India 2026, Standex Electronics is bringing together the strengths of Standex Detect, Standex Edge and Standex Grid—from precision sensing and switching to power magnetics, power conversion and grid measurement. Our focus is to work closely with Indian OEMs and engineering teams, understand the application at an early stage and deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions supported by local presence and global engineering expertise. We see significant opportunity to grow with customers in India as they develop increasingly sophisticated products for both domestic and global markets,” said Chirag Sheth, VP, Strategy & Growth and General Manager of Standex Detect India.
At the exhibition, Standex Electronics will focus on technical conversations with design engineers, R&D leaders, electrical and electronics engineers, sourcing and procurement teams, product managers and senior technical decision-makers. Visitors can explore physical products and application examples across semiconductor test, high-voltage test and measurement, EV and energy storage, industrial automation, fluid-level monitoring, transportation and other sensing and switching applications. Chirag Sheth, Hemant Singh, Erich Hoerl and the Standex Electronics Sales Team will be available at the booth to discuss application requirements and explore standard and custom-engineered solutions.
