Zen Technologies Limited, a leading provider of defence training and anti-drone solutions, has announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, reaffirming its strong execution outlook backed by a robust order pipeline, new product launches and continued demand for indigenous defence technologies. The company reported that its Q1 FY27 revenue was in line with expectations, reflecting the initial phase of execution for orders secured over the past several months. Most of the company’s current order book was received from October 2025 onwards, with execution timelines typically extending over 12 months. As a result, a significant portion of revenue is expected to be recognised during the second and third quarters of FY27, while orders received through Q2 FY27 are likely to contribute to revenue from the fourth quarter onwards.

As of June 30, 2026, Zen Technologies had a consolidated order book valued at ₹1,239.02 crore. Strengthening this position further, the company secured an additional simulator contract worth ₹177.50 crore in July 2026 for the upgradation and integration of Tank and Crew Gunnery Simulators. The combined order pipeline provides strong visibility for revenue growth over the coming quarters, with execution progressing according to planned schedules.

During the quarter, Zen Technologies expanded its defence solutions portfolio by introducing several advanced products, including an artificial intelligence-powered anti-drone system, the Hyperstrike interceptor drone, the Zen Vrishab unmanned ground vehicle and the Integrated Smart Border Suite. These additions further reinforce the company’s leadership in defence training systems and counter-drone technologies while broadening its capabilities across modern battlefield requirements.

The company also continues to expand its presence across India’s armed forces. Having already established a leadership position in training solutions for the Army and the Navy, Zen Technologies has successfully completed research and development for its first Air Force training solution. Discussions with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are progressing well, and the company expects to finalise strategic partnerships during the current financial year, paving the way for its entry into the air simulator segment.

Zen Technologies said the defence procurement environment remains favourable, supported by the Government of India’s continued emphasis on strengthening counter-drone capabilities, layered air defence systems and unmanned platforms. Recent approvals by the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), along with the sustained focus on the ‘Buy Indian-IDDM’ procurement policy, continue to create significant opportunities for indigenous defence manufacturers. With an expanded product portfolio, a healthy order pipeline and growing opportunities across multiple defence segments, the company remains confident of sustaining its growth momentum through FY27.

Headquartered in Hyderabad, Zen Technologies is among India’s pioneers in defence training and anti-drone solutions. The company operates a Ministry of Science and Technology-recognised research and development centre and advanced manufacturing facility. It has filed more than 230 patents and delivered over 1,000 defence training systems to customers across India and international markets, supporting armed forces in enhancing combat readiness through advanced simulation and technology-driven training solutions.
