Zen Technologies Limited, a leading Indian developer of anti-drone systems and advanced defence training solutions, has announced its financial results for the second quarter and first half of FY26. Commenting on the results, Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director, stated “Our performance in Q2 underscores our operational resilience and disciplined execution. While revenue and profit were temporarily affected by procedural delays in order finalisations, the core strength of our business remains intact. We continue to maintain strong liquidity and benefit from increasing contributions by our subsidiaries.”
He added that the company recorded a lower turnover compared to the same period last year. However, operational EBITDA margins stayed robust, reflecting Zen’s capability to sustain profitability despite short-term revenue fluctuations. Subsidiaries such as Applied Research International Pvt Ltd (ARIPL) and Unistring Tech Solutions (UTS) continued to perform well, demonstrating the success of Zen’s strategic investments.
Looking ahead, the company expects greater contributions from its subsidiaries as project execution accelerates and synergies are realised. Zen Technologies remains financially sound, with liquidity exceeding ₹1,100 crore as of September 30, 2025. Zen continues to prioritise research and development to strengthen its technological leadership and broaden its product offerings.
Following Operation Sindoor, the Government of India initiated several emergency procurement programmes to address urgent operational needs. Consequently, the closure timelines for certain regular Requests for Proposals (RFPs) have been temporarily extended. Zen clarified that these delays are procedural and have no bearing on long-term demand or revenue outlook. The deferred orders remain active and are expected to progress in due course.
The company also noted that Operation Sindoor validated Zen’s field-deployed equipment, leading to heightened interest, particularly in its anti-drone technologies. Mr Atluri concluded, “We remain optimistic that the temporary challenges faced in FY26 will pave the way for stronger growth in the coming years. Our continued emphasis on innovation, execution excellence, and alignment with India’s defence modernisation initiatives will drive sustained progress.”
