Zelio E-Mobility has introduced the 2026 variant of its X-Men+ low-speed electric scooter, expanding its portfolio of urban mobility solutions designed for everyday riders. The new version of the popular scooter combines updated styling, enhanced ride comfort, and practical performance tailored for city commuting.

The X-Men+ has been one of the company’s widely adopted electric scooters, and the 2026 edition has been developed to cater to a broad group of riders including students, office commuters, and daily city travelers. With growing interest in electric mobility across India, Zelio aims to provide affordable and user-friendly electric vehicles suited to short-distance urban transportation.

The newly launched variant features a refreshed exterior design and updated aesthetics. It is available in four colour options: Dark Knight Black, White, Midnight Blue, and Nardo Gray, offering customers a modern and distinctive appearance. Priced from ₹60,000, the scooter is positioned as an accessible electric mobility option for urban users seeking economical transportation. As part of the launch promotion, Zelio E-Mobility is offering a complimentary safety helmet to the first 5,000 customers purchasing the new model.

The scooter delivers a range of up to 120 kilometers on a single charge and operates at a maximum speed of 25 km/h, placing it within the low-speed electric scooter category that does not require a driving license or vehicle registration in many regions.

The X-Men+ 2026 variant incorporates several design improvements intended to enhance stability and ride quality. One of the key upgrades is the larger 12-inch rear wheel, replacing the earlier 10-inch configuration. The larger wheel size improves road grip and balance during daily commuting.

The scooter also features hydraulic shock absorbers at both the front and rear, which help absorb road vibrations and provide smoother handling on urban roads. The vehicle is equipped with 90-100-10 tyres on both wheels to support consistent stability.

For braking performance, the scooter combines a front disc brake with a rear drum brake, delivering reliable stopping power for city riding conditions. Alloy rims at the front and a hub motor rear rim add to the durability and structural strength of the vehicle.

The electric scooter is powered by a 60/72V BLDC motor, which is designed to provide efficient energy consumption for daily commuting. The motor uses approximately 1.5 units of electricity, supporting cost-effective operation for riders.

Zelio offers flexibility in battery options by supporting both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries. Charging times vary depending on the battery type, with lithium batteries requiring approximately 4–5 hours and lead batteries taking 8–10 hours to recharge fully.

The scooter is designed to carry a gross weight of 80 kilograms and offers a loading capacity of up to 180 kilograms, making it suitable for everyday transportation needs. Additional convenience features include a digital instrument display, reverse gear, USB charging port, central locking system, anti-theft alarm, parking switch, and an auto-repair switch. The X-Men+ is also supported by a two-year vehicle warranty and a one-year battery warranty, providing assurance for customers using the scooter for daily commuting.

Commenting on the launch, Kunal Arya, Managing Director of Zelio E-Mobility, said the scooter has been developed to meet the practical needs of urban commuters who require reliable, easy-to-use electric mobility.

Since its establishment in 2021, Zelio E-Mobility has expanded rapidly in India’s electric vehicle market. The company currently operates with an annual manufacturing capacity of 72,000 units, serves more than 200,000 customers, and maintains a dealer network of over 350 outlets across 20 states and union territories. Through continued innovation and product development, Zelio aims to make electric mobility more practical, affordable, and widely accessible for urban transportation across India.
