WOL3D, India’s pioneering and leading SME in the 3D printing industry, today announced the expansion of its national footprint with the inauguration of a new branch office in Chennai. This strategic development marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth roadmap for South India, positioning Chennai as a key operational hub for regional business, customer engagement, and innovation initiatives.
The new office, located at WOL3D Chennai – Main Building, Ground Floor, No. 443, Guna Complex, Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai – 600018, has been conceptualized as a comprehensive facility that combines training, demonstrations, and industrial collaboration. The center is designed to support educational institutions, design studios, and manufacturing enterprises across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states by providing hands-on exposure to advanced 3D printing technologies and practical applications.
Serving as the focal point for WOL3D’s South India operations, the Chennai branch will enable faster response times and localized technical support across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. It will also function as a dedicated training and education center, aimed at upskilling students, designers, and engineers in emerging 3D printing processes, materials, and applications. In addition, the facility houses an interactive experience zone featuring more than 25 fully operational 3D printers, allowing visitors and professionals to witness cutting-edge solutions in real time.
The new center is set to play a key role in fostering collaboration with industries such as automotive, aerospace, healthcare, IT, and manufacturing by offering customized prototyping and production solutions tailored to specific sectoral needs. This expansion is a testament to WOL3D’s commitment to bridging the gap between ideation and manufacturing, advancing its mission to make 3D printing more accessible, innovative, and impactful within both educational and industrial ecosystems.
With ten operational branches and a state-of-the-art technical facility, WOL3D continues to solidify its national presence. The company has already outlined future expansion plans across Kolkata and other metropolitan cities, reinforcing its position as a market leader in India’s fast-growing additive manufacturing landscape.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Chandalia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WOL3D, said, “Tamil Nadu has evolved into a global manufacturing hub, driving growth across industries such as electronics and automobiles. In this dynamic environment, 3D printing has the potential to transform innovation by redefining prototyping and simulation models. Our new Chennai center is poised to play an important role in our overall growth story and in accelerating the adoption of 3D printing across the region and the country.”
Earlier this year, WOL3D unveiled BRAHMA, India’s first large-scale 3D printing farm located in Mumbai, which can manage over 200 concurrent print jobs. This initiative underscores the company’s leadership in advancing 3D printing technology and its ongoing commitment to exploring new domains and markets across India.
Founded in 2016, WOL3D is one of India’s foremost 3D printing companies offering high-quality 3D printers, filaments, and prototyping services. The company is ISO, CE, and RoHS certified and serves as the official master distributor for global brands such as Creality, Bambu Lab, Elegoo, Phrozen, and Flashforge. WOL3D also owns two sub-brands—Brahma 3D Farm, India’s largest 3D printing farm, and Vinglits, the country’s first 3D-printed toy brand.
