Waaree Retains Top Position as India’s Leading Solar Module Supplier in Q3 2025

Waaree Energies Limited, a major force in India’s clean-energy landscape, has once again secured the No. 1 position in solar module shipments for Q3 2025, according to the latest Renewable Energy Market Update from JMK Research & Analytics. The report shows that among 28 major module manufacturers assessed, Waaree posted the highest shipment volumes, reinforcing its strong foothold in India’s rapidly expanding solar industry.

Indian manufacturers supplied more than 95% of the modules shipped during the quarter, with Waaree leading the segment on the strength of its integrated manufacturing ecosystem, dependable supply chain, and continued emphasis on quality and technological excellence.

During Q3 2025, India added roughly 8.06 GW of utility-scale capacity and 2.7 GW of rooftop solar, taking total installed solar capacity to 127 GW as of September 2025. Waaree’s sustained dominance mirrors its execution capability at a time when the country is accelerating toward its goal of 500 GW of renewable energy.

In this quarter, Waaree expanded its module production by 1.8 GW and increased solar cell manufacturing by 4.2 GW, signaling its commitment to strengthening India’s clean-tech manufacturing base. Despite global trade headwinds, the company exported 37.9% of its Q3 module output, underscoring its strong global competitiveness.
