The acquisition broadens Virtusa’s semiconductor footprint in India by integrating SmartSoC’s operations across Bengaluru, Hubli, and Hyderabad, including a key tier-2 delivery hub in Hubli. The addition of over 1,400 engineers with expertise in VLSI, physical design, and embedded software significantly deepens Virtusa’s technical capabilities and delivery scalability.
