TVS Motor Company Ranked World’s Top Durable Consumer Goods Firm

TVS Motor Company has been ranked number one globally for shareholder value creation in the ‘Durable Consumer Goods’ category by German business publication WirtschaftsWoche in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The recognition highlights the company’s sustained financial performance, strategic expansion, and long-term value creation for stakeholders across global markets.

Commenting on the achievement, Professor Sir Ralf Speth, Chief Mentor, TVS Motor Company, said the recognition reflects the successful execution of Chairman Sudarshan Venu’s long-term strategic vision and the collective efforts of the entire organisation.

He noted that the company’s customer-centric approach, focus on technology, commitment to innovation, and strong workplace culture have enabled TVS Motor to emerge as a globally respected mobility brand. According to him, the company has consistently balanced business growth with social responsibility, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence.

Professor Speth further stated that the “TVS Way” has helped the company earn international recognition across multiple areas, including product quality, environmental stewardship, and operational performance. He added that TVS Motor’s investments in energy-efficient mobility solutions and electric vehicles continue to strengthen its leadership position in the rapidly evolving mobility landscape.

He also highlighted the revival of Norton Motorcycles under TVS Motor Company’s ownership, describing it as a strong example of the company’s ability to blend heritage, technology, design, and engineering excellence to create globally admired products.

TVS Motor Company delivered a record financial performance in FY 2025-26, reinforcing its strong growth trajectory. The company reported its highest-ever annual sales of 5.89 million units, representing a 24 per cent increase over the previous year. International business registered robust growth of 33 per cent across more than 90 markets worldwide.

Revenue for the year rose 30 per cent year-on-year to Rs. 47,270 crore, while operating profit before tax increased 40 per cent to Rs. 4,975 crore. Operating EBITDA margin improved by 60 basis points to 12.9 per cent, reflecting improved operational efficiency and stronger profitability.
