Tata Elxsi (BSE: 500408 | NSE: TATAELXSI), a global provider of design and engineering services, announced its financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025. For Q3 FY26, Tata Elxsi recorded operating revenue of ₹953.5 crore, marking a 3.9% increase over the previous quarter. EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹222.2 crore, with margins improving to 23.3%. Profit before tax rose 12.7% quarter-on-quarter to ₹242.0 crore, while profit after tax increased 15.7% to ₹179.1 crore.
Growth during the quarter was driven primarily by the transportation business, supported by higher execution levels in earlier-won software-defined vehicle (SDV) programs and the resumption of work with a key OEM customer that had seen reduced activity in the previous quarter. The company also secured a new engagement with a US-based off-highway OEM for the development of an advanced operator information and control system, reinforcing its capabilities in integrated system engineering and user-centric design. Regionally, Europe and the United States led growth, with improved performance across several key accounts.
Media and Communications, as well as Healthcare and Life Sciences, saw a temporary slowdown due to seasonal furloughs and delays in deal closures toward the end of the quarter. However, Tata Elxsi expects growth to resume in both segments from Q4. In Healthcare, the company secured a multi-year engagement with a European medical technology firm to modernize regulatory workflows, delivering measurable improvements in turnaround time and quality.
Another significant win included the development of a next-generation drug delivery system for critical care. In the communications space, Tata Elxsi was selected by a major European telecom operator as a long-term partner for its network transformation program, centered on automation and orchestration across 4G and 5G networks.
Commenting on the results, Manoj Raghavan, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Elxsi, said the company delivered strong operational performance during the quarter, reflected in margin expansion and improved utilization. He added that continued investments in AI-led engineering, domain-specific automation, and platform-based solutions are translating into meaningful customer wins across industries. The company enters the final quarter of FY26 with a healthy deal pipeline, new customer additions, and confidence in sustaining growth.
