The project is awarded under Component-B of the Pradhan MantriKisanUrja Suraksha evamUtthaanMahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) scheme.

The 16,780 off-grid DC solar pumps to be supplied by Shakti Pumps will play a crucial role in improving water accessibility, enhancing agricultural productivity, and ensuring energy security for farmers in remote and grid-deficient areas of the state.
