Tata Elxsi has reported a strong start to FY27, with steady revenue growth led by its Transportation and Media & Communications businesses. The company posted revenue from operations of ₹1,021.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking the first time it has crossed the ₹1,000 crore quarterly revenue milestone.

Revenue grew 2.8% compared with the previous quarter and 14.5% over the same period last year. Profitability also improved during the quarter. EBITDA stood at ₹216 crore, up 15.7% year-on-year, while Profit Before Tax increased 18.4% to ₹232.5 crore. Profit After Tax rose 18.2% to ₹170.6 crore.

The company’s Transportation business remained the biggest growth driver, recording a 13.3% year-on-year increase. Growth came from stronger engagements with global automotive manufacturers and new projects in the off-road and aerospace sectors. Tata Elxsi also announced its partnership with JSW Motors to establish the JNEXT – JSW NextGen Technology Centre, which will develop software-defined and AI-powered mobility solutions for the next generation of vehicles.

The Media & Communications business delivered another strong quarter with 22.2% year-on-year growth. The company expanded work with leading telecom operators, broadcasters and device manufacturers across global markets. During the quarter, Tata Elxsi secured a major transformation and managed services contract from a large US-based advertising technology company to modernize legacy systems using AI-enabled software development processes. The company also achieved a significant milestone with its Neuron platform, helping Sky Europe improve network operations through AI-driven automation and intelligent network management.

The Healthcare and Life Sciences business recorded 1.7% sequential growth despite a cautious market environment. Tata Elxsi introduced two new AI-based platforms—ViTEL for material intelligence and traceability, and AnaTEL for software development in the healthcare and medical technology sector. The company also signed its first strategic ViTEL engagement with a global medical technology company to improve material traceability and regulatory compliance.

Commenting on the results, Manoj Raghavan, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Elxsi, said the company’s performance reflects growing demand for its engineering, design and AI capabilities across key industries.
