Amber Group has conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for two advanced manufacturing facilities at the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area near Noida International Airport, Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The projects are aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities in electronics components and air-conditioning systems while supporting India’s drive towards self-reliant industrial development.

The two facilities include an advanced High-Density Interconnect (HDI) Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing unit by Ascent-K Circuit and an Ultra Mega Air Conditioner (AC) manufacturing facility by Amber Group. The Ascent-K Circuit facility will be developed across 16 acres and has been approved under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The facility brings together the expertise of Ascent Circuits and Korea Circuit Co. and will focus on the manufacturing of advanced HDI PCBs, a critical electronic component used across industries including consumer electronics, automotive systems, telecommunications and industrial applications.

Amber Group’s Ultra Mega AC manufacturing facility will be spread across 100 acres and is planned to significantly enhance domestic air-conditioner production capacity through phased expansion. The facility will support the development of a stronger local manufacturing ecosystem for cooling solutions while increasing domestic value addition across the supply chain.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh; Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology; and Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The event was also attended by Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Cabinet Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI and Investment Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Brijesh Singh, Minister of State for Public Works Department and Minister In-charge for Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh; Dr Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Gautam Buddha Nagar; Surendra Singh Nagar, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Uttar Pradesh; Dhirender Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Jewar; and other dignitaries.
