KEC International Ltd, an RPG Group company and a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) player, has secured new orders worth ₹1,180 crore across its Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, Civil, and Cables & Conductors businesses, further strengthening its project portfolio in India and international markets. The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business accounted for a significant share of the new wins, including a 400 kV transmission line project in western India that will supply power to a data centre.
The project marks KEC International’s first transmission line order dedicated to supporting data centre infrastructure, reflecting the growing demand for reliable power networks as India’s digital economy continues to expand. The company also secured orders for the supply of transmission line towers in the Middle East, along with contracts for towers, hardware and poles in the Americas, reinforcing its presence in overseas markets.
In the renewable energy segment, KEC has been awarded a contract for a solar photovoltaic project exceeding 200 MW in western India by an existing client, a leading private sector renewable energy developer. The order further strengthens the company’s position in the fast-growing clean energy sector and highlights its continuing relationships with key customers.
The Civil business has received an order for additional civil and structural works for a 150 MW thermal power plant in eastern India from a prominent private sector customer. The project adds to KEC’s expanding portfolio of industrial infrastructure assignments. The Cables & Conductors business has also secured multiple supply orders from customers in India and international markets, reflecting steady demand across the power transmission value chain.
Commenting on the new orders, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International Ltd, said, “We are pleased to begin the next phase of the financial year with strong order inflows across our businesses.
