Trusted Aerospace Engineering, operating under the brand TASE Global, today announced the inauguration of its new aerostructures manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. The new unit, established with an investment of Rs 150 crore, represents a significant expansion of the company’s manufacturing capabilities and its entry into the rapidly growing global aerostructures market.

The facility was formally inaugurated on 22 January by Masahiko Mori, President of DMG MORI, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration that will support high-precision aerospace manufacturing through advanced machining technologies. With this expansion, TASE Global will manufacture aerostructure components, in addition to its existing export-focused production of aero-engine components and precision medical engineering parts. The company stated that the new plant is designed to meet stringent aerospace industry requirements for accuracy, repeatability, traceability, and process reliability.

“This facility is a landmark milestone for TASE Global as we expand beyond aero-engine components into the global aerostructures segment,” said Sankararaman Vaidyanathan, Chairman, TASE Global. “Our partnership with DMG MORI enables us to accelerate productivity and resource efficiency through technology integration, automation, and digitisation—building a strong foundation for long-term global growth.”

According to TASE Global, the global aerostructures market is estimated at approximately USD 70 billion annually, offering substantial opportunities as aircraft production increases worldwide and defence modernisation programs gain pace across key markets. The company expects the new aerostructures unit to generate additional revenue of around Rs 300 crore over the next three years, driven by growing customer demand and strong manufacturing readiness.

The Sriperumbudur facility is equipped with 30 high-precision machines supplied by DMG MORI. These machines are intended to support highly complex machining operations while ensuring consistent quality output aligned with global aerospace standards.

In its first phase, the unit spans approximately 40,000 sq ft and has the capability to machine long and complex components of up to six metres in length. These include critical aerostructure parts such as frames, spars, ribs, longerons, door assemblies, and floor beams. TASE Global stated that the facility is expected to create around 200 skilled jobs, contributing to local manufacturing employment and strengthening Tamil Nadu’s position as a key aerospace and precision engineering hub.

Looking ahead, TASE Global outlined additional capacity-building plans aligned with high-growth sectors. The company will establish a 30,000 sq ft surface treatment facility equipped with a zero liquid discharge (ZLD) system, expected to be commissioned by April 2026 with an investment of Rs 40 crore. In addition, TASE Global plans a 40,000 sq ft semiconductor equipment subsystem manufacturing unit featuring a cleanroom environment, expected to be commissioned by December 2026 with an investment of Rs 60 crore.

TASE Global operates manufacturing facilities across India, the United States, and Europe, supplying high-precision components to customers in civil aerospace, defence, and advanced precision engineering sectors.
