Suzlon Group has secured its maiden 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Limited, marking a new partnership between the two companies and further strengthening Suzlon’s presence in Madhya Pradesh. The order is Suzlon’s third DevCo-led wind project across Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. It also marks an important milestone for the company’s flagship 3.x MW S144 wind turbine platform, which has now crossed 10 GW in cumulative orders.
As part of the project, Suzlon will install 64 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The project will be developed at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh, with the electricity generated to be connected to the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPCL) state grid.
Suzlon will execute the project through its end-to-end EPC offering. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of wind turbines, land acquisition, balance of plant works, pooling substation, extra-high-voltage transmission line, commissioning and operations and maintenance services.
The project is expected to support Ayana Renewable Power as it expands its wind energy portfolio and strengthens its presence in Madhya Pradesh. Ayana has built a renewable energy portfolio of around 5.5 GW across wind, solar and round-the-clock renewable power projects.
Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of Suzlon Group, said, “We are pleased to partner with Ayana Renewable Power as it strengthens its wind portfolio and expands into Madhya Pradesh. The state has strong wind potential and is well positioned to play an important role in the next phase of India’s wind energy growth. We have secured two consecutive wind orders from Madhya Pradesh, reflecting the growing momentum in the state and the opportunities ahead.”
The new order further adds to Suzlon’s growing presence in India’s renewable energy sector. The company continues to focus on providing integrated wind energy solutions that cover the complete project cycle, from technology and development to project execution and long-term asset management.
Suzlon has installed more than 22 GW of wind energy capacity across 17 countries. The company operates as a wind-focused renewable energy solutions group with businesses across wind, solar, energy storage, renewable energy development, project execution and asset management. With the S144 platform crossing the 10 GW milestone, Suzlon said it remains focused on developing efficient and reliable renewable energy solutions suited to India’s growing power needs.
Headquartered at Suzlon One Earth in Pune, Suzlon Group has partnered with public sector companies, independent power producers and commercial and industrial customers for more than three decades. The latest Ayana order strengthens the company’s role in supporting India’s clean energy transition and expanding wind power capacity across the country.
