STMicroelectronics and ST Foundation India have been awarded the “CSR Project of the Year” by the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in recognition of their impactful Digital Unify initiative. The award was presented during the 7th IFCCI CSR Conclave and Awards 2025 held in New Delhi. This year’s theme, “Local Frameworks, Global Goals, Digital Pathways,” underscored the alignment between India’s evolving CSR ecosystem and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The honour acknowledges the Digital Unify program’s contribution to reducing the digital divide and strengthening digital literacy across communities in India. Over the past three years alone, the initiative has reached more than 55,000 beneficiaries by leveraging technology-enabled learning and inclusive education models.

The Digital Unify program is built around tailored digital learning initiatives that address the needs of people across different age groups and levels of digital literacy. By offering customized education pathways, the program ensures that participants can build practical digital skills at a pace and depth suited to their abilities. A strong focus is placed on inclusion, with dedicated efforts to reach underprivileged communities, individuals with visual impairments, senior citizens, and children, enabling broader and more equitable access to technology-enabled learning.

Equally important is the program’s collaborative and sustainability-driven approach. Digital Unify works closely with non-governmental organizations and local community partners to deliver its initiatives effectively at the grassroots level. This partnership-led model helps create long-lasting, community-owned digital ecosystems that continue to generate impact beyond individual training programs, supporting digital empowerment and resilience over the long term.

Speaking during the panel discussion at the conclave, Chhavi Bajpai, IT Head at STMicroelectronics and Director of ST Foundation India, shared her perspective on inclusive development. She noted that meaningful and lasting social impact is possible when digital inclusion is treated as a foundation for sustainable growth. She added that the Digital Unify initiative demonstrates how community-focused programs can empower individuals, strengthen resilience, and enable inclusive progress. The recognition, she said, further reinforces ST Foundation India’s commitment to driving positive change through technology and collaboration.
