Sonalika Tractors has recorded its highest-ever August overall sales, selling 12,581 tractors in August 2026 and continuing the strong momentum seen by the company in FY27. The company said its August performance grew at 1.9 times the estimated growth of the overall tractor industry. The performance comes as the Indian tractor market prepares for the upcoming festive season, when demand from farmers typically gains momentum.
Sonalika also achieved its highest-ever monthly production in August, manufacturing 18,067 tractors at its integrated tractor manufacturing plant in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The record production is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to meet rising demand during the festive period.
The two milestones reflect the company’s focus on manufacturing capacity, product development and market responsiveness. Sonalika said its vertically integrated manufacturing operations give it greater control over quality and help it develop tractors suited to different farming needs and regional conditions.
The company is currently promoting its new Gold series tractors under its Dumdaar tractor range. The products are designed to meet varied applications and requirements across Indian agriculture. Sonalika has also prepared its dealership network to meet demand during the festive season. The company has launched its annual festive campaign, Heavy Duty Dumdaar Dhamaka, offering farmers opportunities to purchase its tractor range during the season.
Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said the company is pleased to have achieved its best-ever August sales of 12,581 tractors while growing 1.9 times faster than the estimated industry growth. He added that the production record of 18,067 tractors reflects the coordination across the company’s value chain.
