For the fourth quarter of FY26, the company recorded revenue of ₹1,272 crore, marking a 47% year-on-year increase. EBITDA stood at ₹311 crore, up 32% compared to the same period last year, with margins at 24.4%.

Profit after tax reached ₹192 crore, reflecting a 17% rise year-on-year, with a net margin of 14.7%. Revenue contribution from battery electric vehicles (BEVs) touched a record 39% during the quarter, supported by a 22% growth in BEV revenues.

During the quarter, the company secured four new driveline orders, including three for electric vehicle programs and one for a hybrid platform. Notably, three of these orders were from European original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), marking a significant milestone in expanding its international presence.

Commenting on the performance, Vivek Vikram Singh, Managing Director and Group CEO, said the company achieved its strongest quarterly performance to date, supported by growth in electric mobility solutions and continued expansion in global markets. He highlighted that the rise in EV-related demand, along with contributions from railway business consolidation, played a key role in driving revenue growth.

Operationally, the company strengthened its order book with multiple new contracts. These include supplying differential gears and assemblies for BEV platforms in North America and Europe, as well as hybrid vehicle components for European markets. Collectively, these wins are expected to contribute significantly to future revenues, with production timelines spanning FY28 to FY29.

The company also made progress in its railways segment by introducing new products such as electric control panels and HVAC systems, broadening its portfolio in this space. Sona Comstar continued to expand its electrification footprint, adding three new EV programs in Q4, taking the total to 67 programs across 35 customers. The company remains focused on strengthening its position as a global supplier of critical components for electric mobility.

With a diversified presence across geographies and product segments, Sona Comstar is well positioned to capitalize on the accelerating shift toward electrification while maintaining growth in conventional and hybrid vehicle technologies. Headquartered in Gurugram, India, Sona Comstar operates across multiple geographies, including the United States, Serbia, Mexico, and China. With strong R&D and engineering capabilities, the company continues to develop advanced technologies for global OEMs, supporting the transition toward sustainable and electrified mobility.
