Eveready Industries India Limited has announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, posting consistent growth supported by improved product mix, pricing discipline, and capacity expansion. The company recorded its sixth consecutive quarter of revenue growth, closing the year on a stable footing.

For the fourth quarter of FY26, consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹327.2 crore, reflecting a 9.4% increase over ₹299.0 crore in the corresponding period last year. Growth was led by strong traction in the battery segment, with alkaline batteries registering an 82% surge, alongside a 17% rise in the lighting business.

EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹28.7 crore, up from ₹25.9 crore in Q4 FY25, supported by better realizations and prudent cost control despite input cost pressures. Profit after tax for the quarter was reported at ₹141.8 crore, including an exceptional gain of ₹102.7 crore, compared to ₹10.4 crore in the year-ago period.

For the full financial year FY26, consolidated revenue reached ₹1,455.4 crore, marking an 8.2% increase over ₹1,344.5 crore in FY25. EBITDA margins improved marginally to 11.5%, aided by operating leverage and calibrated price adjustments. Profit after tax stood at ₹171.5 crore, including a net exceptional gain of ₹48.6 crore, compared to ₹82.4 crore in the previous year.

The company continued to strengthen its position across segments, with the alkaline battery category nearing a 20% market share, while maintaining leadership of over 52% in the dry cell battery segment. A key milestone during the year was the commissioning of a new alkaline battery manufacturing facility in Jammu, marking the only operational plant of its kind in India. The facility is expected to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities, reduce dependence on imports, and support the company’s expansion in the premium battery segment.

Commenting on the performance, Chief Executive Officer Anirban Banerjee said the year reflected steady operational progress, driven by sustained growth in batteries, improved performance in flashlights, and recovery in the lighting business. He noted that investments in capacity expansion, product development, and portfolio enhancement are expected to support future growth.

Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Bibek Agarwala highlighted that disciplined pricing strategies, cost management measures, and forex hedging helped offset input cost pressures. He added that the company continued to reduce its debt, achieving a reduction of over ₹100 crore during the year.
