SMK Helmets, the premium brand from Studds Accessories Ltd, has announced the India launch of its globally recognised NOVA series, introducing two variants—NOVA Solid and NOVA Track. The models combine sporty styling with certified rider protection.
The NOVA series has already gained attention in international markets and was previewed to Indian audiences at India Bike Week. It is now being made available widely across the country. Both helmets are built with an Energy Impact Resistant Thermoplastic shell for strength and durability, along with a multi-density EPS liner to absorb impact energy. They meet ECE 22.06, DOT, and ISI safety standards.
Designed for city rides and highway travel, the aerodynamic full-face profile improves stability and coverage. Ventilation features include chin, top, and rear exhaust vents, along with a wind protector and nose deflector for comfort on longer rides.
The helmets feature a scratch-resistant visor with Pinlock® 30 anti-fog insert and quick-release system. Interior padding is breathable, removable, and washable, with an eyeglass-friendly design and secure chin strap. Two shell sizes help achieve better fit and balance.
The NOVA Track model features race-inspired styling with sharp graphics and bold colour contrasts, giving it a strong, performance-focused look. It is offered in seven colour options, including select chrome-accented finishes that add a premium touch. The NOVA Solid, in contrast, presents a clean and understated design with five single-tone colour choices, including an iridescent pink variant that subtly shifts between pink and violet hues under different lighting conditions.
The NOVA Solid helmet is priced starting at ₹4,000, while the NOVA Track variant begins at ₹4,300. Both models are positioned to offer riders a combination of certified safety, modern styling, and everyday usability at accessible price points. The helmets are available through authorised SMK dealers and leading motorcycle accessory outlets across the country, with size options ranging from XS to XXL to ensure a comfortable fit for a wide range of riders.
