Škoda Auto has received the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026 for its Vision App concept, recognising its approach to creating a more personalised and connected digital experience for future mobility. The award-winning concept explores how Škoda’s digital ecosystem could develop beyond the current MyŠkoda app. It focuses on making digital services more intuitive, relevant and responsive to individual users throughout their journeys.

The concept follows a people-first design approach inspired by Škoda’s Simply Clever philosophy. It aims to connect different digital services and provide users with information and support before, during and after a journey. A key element of the concept is Laura, an AI-powered digital assistant designed to respond to context and provide proactive assistance. The system could help users prepare for journeys, manage vehicle settings, optimise charging and coordinate travel plans.

The concept also explores AI-assisted vehicle preparation, collaborative trip planning, personalised charging support and automatic creation of shareable travel memories. Together, these features demonstrate how digital services could become more closely integrated with the vehicle and the wider mobility experience.

An international jury of design experts selected the Vision App concept for the Red Dot Award. The recognition adds to Škoda Auto’s strong record in design and digital innovation. The company previously received a Red Dot Award in 2021 for an earlier mobile app concept in the Interface & User Experience Design category. The latest award highlights Škoda’s continued focus on improving digital products and customer experiences. The company’s MyŠkoda app remains a key part of this strategy and continues to receive new features and services.

Škoda Auto is pursuing its Next Level Škoda Strategy, with an ambition to become one of Europe’s three best-selling car brands by the end of the decade. The company offers a mix of battery-electric, hybrid and internal-combustion vehicles and is expanding its presence in growth markets including India, Vietnam and the ASEAN region. Škoda delivered more than 1.04 million vehicles worldwide in 2025 and currently offers 14 passenger car model ranges, including the Fabia, Octavia, Kodiaq, Enyaq, Elroq, Slavia, Kylaq and Kushaq.

Part of the Volkswagen Group for more than three decades, Škoda operates production facilities in the Czech Republic and has manufacturing activities in several other countries, including India. The company employs around 40,000 people worldwide and sells vehicles in almost 100 markets.
