Skipper Limited, a leading engineering and infrastructure company, reported a strong start to FY2026-27, with revenue from operations crossing ₹13,098 million, its highest-ever first-quarter revenue. Revenue grew 4.5% year-on-year, supported by strong execution across its infrastructure business segments.

The company also recorded improvement in profitability during the quarter, with EBITDA, profit before tax (PBT) and profit after tax (PAT) margins expanding year-on-year. PAT stood at ₹565 million. Despite geopolitical uncertainties affecting export markets, disciplined execution and operational efficiency supported continued margin improvement.

Skipper’s order book reached an all-time high of ₹92,166 million as of June 2026, an 8.4% increase from ₹85,019 million at the end of March 2026. During Q1 FY27, the company secured order inflows of ₹16,744 million, including two 765 kV transmission line projects from a leading domestic developer in Maharashtra. The wins further strengthen Skipper’s presence in the high-voltage transmission segment.

The company’s bidding pipeline remains at a record level of more than ₹35 billion, supported by opportunities in both domestic and international markets. As of June 2026, Skipper was executing approximately 5,200 circuit kilometres of EHV and HVDC transmission line projects.

During the quarter, the company also strengthened its balance sheet by raising ₹4,335 million through a preferential equity issue to leading global and domestic long-only institutional investors. The capital is expected to reduce dependence on working-capital borrowings and provide greater financial flexibility to support the company’s growth plans. CRISIL upgraded Skipper’s long-term credit rating to A+/Stable and reaffirmed its CRISIL A1 rating for short-term facilities.

Commenting on the results, Sharan Bansal, Director, Skipper Limited, said, “Q1 FY27 gets our new financial year off to a disciplined start. Revenue stood at ₹13,098 million and PAT at ₹565 million. The capital raise and CRISIL’s rating upgrade further strengthen our financial position. We remain on track to deliver our FY27 guidance of around 15% revenue growth and approximately 30% PAT growth.”

Devesh Bansal, Director, Skipper Limited, said the Engineering business continued to build execution capabilities during the quarter. The company’s ongoing 75,000 MTPA capacity expansion is progressing well and is expected to be commissioned by the end of Q2 FY27, taking total installed capacity to 450,000 MTPA from 375,000 MTPA.

Skipper has also expanded its international presence through new wholly owned subsidiaries in Brazil and the UAE, with a US entity expected to be established shortly. The company continues to see strong customer engagement across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America and Latin America.
