Simplex Castings Limited (BSE: 513472), a leading Indian precision metallurgy company with a global presence, has announced the receipt of a significant order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Varanasi. The order involves the supply of key fabricated and machined assemblies for an 803 HP Mill, with a total order value of approximately ₹7.26 crore.
The order includes the manufacturing and supply of several critical components required for the mill assembly. These components comprise the Mill Side and Liner Assembly for the 803 HP Mill, the Separator Body Assembly for the 803 HP Mill, and the Separator Top, which will be delivered as fully fabricated and machined units. All components will be manufactured strictly in accordance with drawings and technical specifications provided by BHEL.
The purchase order includes ten units of each component, bringing the total value of the contract to ₹7,25,72,500. The execution of this order further strengthens the long-standing association between Simplex Castings and BHEL in supplying specialised components for the power and heavy engineering sectors. BHEL remains one of India’s most prominent public sector engineering enterprises, and the order reflects the continued confidence placed by the organisation in the manufacturing expertise and product quality delivered by Simplex Castings.

In recent months, multiple companies have conducted visits to the firm’s manufacturing facilities in Chhattisgarh, reviewing the company’s capabilities in casting, fabrication and machining. The management believes that these ongoing engagements could translate into additional business opportunities and meaningful order inflows in the near to medium term.
