Centric Software® has announced the success of its collaboration with US-based footwear and apparel retailer Shoe Palace, highlighting how the retailer has improved product development efficiency, increased visibility across operations and expanded its private label business after implementing Centric PLM™. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in San Jose, California, Shoe Palace operates more than 250 retail stores across the United States along with a growing e-commerce business. Known for its athletic footwear, streetwear and exclusive brand collaborations, the retailer has been rapidly expanding its private label portfolio. To support this growth, the company sought a solution that could centralize product information, improve collaboration and simplify the management of an increasing number of products.

After adopting Centric PLM, Shoe Palace replaced manual and fragmented workflows with a centralized platform that serves as a single source of product information. The system enables teams to organize data by season, brand and style, while providing complete visibility into every stage of the product development process. The improved visibility has allowed the retailer to efficiently manage more than 300 active stock-keeping units (SKUs), making it easier for product and design teams to track development progress, access information quickly and coordinate activities across departments.

The implementation has also supported significant business growth. Shoe Palace has increased its product volume by approximately 30 percent while maintaining a lean product development team. By bringing product specifications, design information and communications into one integrated platform, the company has streamlined internal collaboration and strengthened coordination with external suppliers and manufacturing partners. The centralized workflow has also simplified employee onboarding. New team members can quickly understand processes and access product information through an intuitive interface, reducing training time and improving overall productivity.

Commenting on the benefits of the platform, My Nguyen, Product Development Manager at Shoe Palace, said, “Centric PLM has made it much easier to locate information, monitor product development and keep everyone aligned throughout the process. As our product range continues to grow, the additional organization and visibility have helped our team manage increasing complexity while enabling new employees to become productive more quickly.”

The implementation was completed smoothly, allowing teams to rapidly integrate the platform into their daily operations. Today, product data, specifications and communications are managed from a single location, reducing manual effort, improving decision-making and enabling faster collaboration with vendors.

Fabrice Canonge, Chief Executive Officer of Centric Software, said, “We are pleased to support Shoe Palace as it continues to expand its private label business. By providing greater visibility, efficiency and control across product development, Centric PLM is helping the company strengthen its operations while supporting future growth.”
