VIDA, the electric mobility brand powered by Hero, has strengthened its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Go FB (3.1 kWh), introducing a new variant equipped with direct-plug charging. The latest addition expands the VX2 lineup by giving customers greater flexibility to choose a charging solution that best suits their daily lifestyle and home infrastructure.
Priced at ₹1,13,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Go FB has been designed to offer a practical combination of everyday performance, convenient charging and long-range capability, making electric mobility more accessible for Indian consumers. With the launch of the new variant, VIDA now offers customers the option of choosing between its existing removable battery models and the new direct-plug charging version. The move supports the brand’s “GHAR GHAR EVOOTER” vision by catering to different charging preferences, whether customers prefer the convenience of plugging the scooter directly into a standard wall socket or the flexibility of charging a removable battery separately.
The VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Go FB is powered by a 3.1 kWh fixed battery that delivers an IDC-certified range of 128 kilometres on a single charge. The scooter is equipped with a 6 kW swing-arm mounted electric motor, enabling a top speed of 70 km/h, making it suitable for both daily city commuting and longer urban journeys.
Designed with rider comfort and convenience in mind, the scooter features a spacious and ergonomically designed seat, offering enhanced comfort during everyday travel. It also provides 27.2 litres of under-seat storage, allowing riders to conveniently carry helmets, bags and other personal belongings.
The VX2 Go FB comes equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD digital display that supports smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, enabling riders to stay connected while on the move. The scooter also supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in approximately 65 minutes, reducing charging time and improving convenience for daily users.
Beyond expanding its product range, VIDA continues to strengthen its electric mobility ecosystem across India. The company has established an extensive network of more than 5,900 fast-charging stations and over 700 service touchpoints, providing customers with reliable charging infrastructure and comprehensive after-sales support nationwide.
VIDA also continues to offer its flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme, giving customers additional ownership options based on their mobility needs and usage patterns. The new VX2 Go FB complements the company’s growing portfolio by providing another practical charging solution for households where direct charging is the preferred choice. The VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Go FB will be available through authorised VIDA dealerships across India beginning early August.
With the introduction of the new VX2 Go FB, VIDA continues to expand its electric scooter lineup while offering customers greater choice, improved convenience and an integrated ownership experience supported by a nationwide charging and service network. The launch reinforces the company’s commitment to accelerating the adoption of electric mobility by delivering innovative products tailored to the evolving needs of Indian consumers.
