Senores Pharmaceuticals Limited, a global research-driven pharmaceutical company focused on specialty, niche and complex medicines for regulated and emerging markets, has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company delivered strong growth in revenue and profitability, supported by expanding product offerings, improved manufacturing capabilities and sustained demand across key markets.
During the first quarter of FY27, the company recorded a 36% year-on-year increase in revenue, reflecting healthy growth across both regulated and emerging markets. Revenue from regulated markets rose 42%, while the emerging markets business registered 30% growth compared with the same period last year.
The company also reported a sharp improvement in profitability. EBITDA increased by 87% year-on-year, while EBITDA margin expanded by nearly 800 basis points. The improvement was driven by higher operational efficiency, better manufacturing performance and disciplined cost management, enabling stronger and more sustainable margins.
Senores continued to strengthen its product portfolio during the quarter. Its approved Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) portfolio for regulated markets nearly doubled, increasing from 30 approved products in June 2025 to 58 approvals as of June 2026. Out of these, 23 products have already been commercialised, providing additional opportunities for revenue growth in the United States and other regulated markets.
The emerging markets business also maintained steady momentum. The division delivered around 30% year-on-year revenue growth while achieving an EBITDA margin of nearly 14%. The improvement was supported by a greater focus on niche products, efficient go-to-market strategies and stronger business execution. The company also stated that its emerging markets business has now become cash-flow positive.
Commenting on the results, Managing Director Swapnil Shah said the company had built on the momentum of the previous financial year despite a challenging business environment. He said strong growth in regulated markets was driven by continuous portfolio expansion and differentiated sales channels, while the company’s balanced approach of in-house product development and strategic acquisitions had significantly strengthened its ANDA pipeline.
He added that the recently acquired USFDA-approved manufacturing facility in Vadodara has enhanced production capacity, strengthened access to regulated markets and created new opportunities in contract development and manufacturing. Production at the Apnar facility has already begun scaling up, with further expansion planned over the next 12 to 18 months.
Looking ahead, Senores expects another year of strong growth in FY27, supported by a robust product pipeline, increasing commercial launches, expanded manufacturing capacity and enhanced research and development capabilities. The company remains focused on delivering sustainable growth, improving profitability and strengthening its presence across regulated and emerging pharmaceutical markets worldwide.
Senores Pharmaceuticals currently operates five manufacturing facilities across India and the United States and supplies pharmaceutical products to more than 40 countries through a diversified portfolio of formulations, active pharmaceutical ingredients, critical care injectables and complex generic medicines.
