Rockwell Automation, Inc, a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced a strategic technology and go-to-market partnership with industrial AI company Augury to help manufacturers improve equipment reliability, streamline maintenance operations and enhance overall plant performance through artificial intelligence. The collaboration combines Rockwell Automation’s digital manufacturing solutions with Augury’s Industrial AI platform to help manufacturers convert machine data into timely maintenance actions. The partnership is aimed at reducing equipment downtime, improving operational efficiency and helping industries gain greater value from their digital investments.

Manufacturers today collect vast amounts of operational data, but much of it remains underutilized. According to Rockwell Automation’s 11th annual State of Smart Manufacturing Report, only 43 percent of industrial data is being used effectively. As industries continue to adopt AI and digital technologies, connecting insights with real-world maintenance activities has become essential for improving productivity.

The joint offering brings together Augury’s Industrial AI Workforce with Rockwell Automation’s AI-enabled solutions, including the Fiix computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and FactoryTalk Optix. The integrated platform allows manufacturers to identify equipment issues early, plan maintenance work, execute repairs efficiently and continuously improve plant operations.

A key feature of the partnership is the integration of Augury’s Reliability Agent with Rockwell’s Fiix MAX, an AI-powered maintenance assistant. Augury’s technology continuously monitors machine health, identifies developing faults and recommends corrective actions before failures occur. Fiix MAX then converts these recommendations into maintenance schedules, work orders and execution plans, creating a seamless process from fault detection to maintenance completion.

Angela Rapko, Vice President and General Manager, Visualization and Asset Management at Rockwell Automation, said manufacturers need practical solutions that help them respond quickly rather than simply receiving more alerts. She said the integration enables maintenance teams to move faster from identifying equipment problems to resolving them while laying the groundwork for future AI-based maintenance operations.

The partnership also supports the development of agentic AI workflows by combining machine health information with production data. This enables manufacturers to prioritize maintenance activities that have the greatest impact on production performance, extending the use of industrial AI beyond maintenance and into daily plant operations.

Elan Greenberg, Chief Executive Officer of Augury, said manufacturers require AI solutions that fit naturally into their existing operations. He noted that the partnership with Rockwell Automation combines trusted industrial intelligence with systems already used by manufacturers, making it easier for frontline teams to take timely and informed action. The initial integrated solution is expected to be available in September 2026. Further details on commercial availability and rollout plans will be announced closer to the launch.

Rockwell Automation, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, operates in more than 100 countries and provides industrial automation and digital transformation solutions to manufacturers worldwide. Augury is a leading industrial AI company that helps manufacturers improve productivity through predictive maintenance, real-time machine monitoring and advanced AI-driven operational insights.
