RMC Switchgears Limited has reported unaudited sales of ₹221 crore for the first half of the financial year 2025–26 (April–September), more than doubling the ₹105 crore recorded during the same period last year. This marks a year-on-year increase of over 110%, with the growth largely driven by strong performance in the Solar EPC segment.

The Solar EPC division accounted for ₹114 crore in revenue, followed by ₹57 crore from Electrical EPC and ₹50 crore from Electrical Products. The strong showing in the solar business underlines the strategic relevance of the company’s upcoming solar module manufacturing facility. Once operational, the plant is expected to ensure consistent supply, improve cost efficiency, and strengthen execution capability, positively impacting project margins.

The company’s performance reflects steady progress across its main business verticals and sets the stage for continued execution in the second half of the year. As of 30th September 2025, RMC holds a project and order pipeline worth ₹825 crore, slated for execution over the next 12 months.

In Q2 FY26, RMC also completed the proof of concept (PoC) for its Pulse Box, a smart low-tension distribution solution designed to enhance electrical grid safety, prevent power theft, and reduce technical losses. The Pulse Box forms a key part of RMC’s broader roadmap for intelligent distribution infrastructure. Wider adoption will depend on utility trials, regulatory clearances, field results, and commercial agreements.

Ankit Agrawal, CEO and Whole-Time Director of RMC Switchgears, commented “Our results for the first half demonstrate disciplined delivery across key areas of our business, particularly the Solar EPC segment. With stronger engineering practices, sharper project planning, and faster turnaround, we are building trust with customers and improving our execution benchmarks. These operational gains are reinforcing our market position and setting us up for sustained and quality-led growth. We remain committed to responsible capital deployment and sound governance.”

RMC Switchgears is a recognised name in the electrical infrastructure space, offering solutions focused on enhancing safety and reducing electricity losses. The company is widely known for its electrical enclosures that support utilities in preventing power theft and reducing electrocution risks, especially under programmes such as the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

With a presence across manufacturing, installation, and O&M services, RMC serves AMISPs, utility providers, and public sector clients. As India invests heavily in upgrading its power grid—with over ₹9 trillion allocated to the transmission sector—RMC is strengthening its presence through EPC projects.

The company’s entry into renewable energy aligns with India’s clean energy agenda. RMC is expanding into solar EPC services, green energy solutions, and IPP offerings. Its upcoming 1 GW solar module manufacturing facility marks a strategic backward integration move to reduce dependency on imports and support domestic production.

Beyond energy, RMC is also entering water infrastructure management, using technologies such as IoT to deliver intelligent, efficient solutions. With a focus on high-impact, customised offerings for power distribution companies, RMC continues to contribute to national goals of energy security, sustainability, and infrastructure modernisation.
