For the quarter ending June 30, 2025, RMC Switchgears Limited reported a consolidated Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹12.44 crore, marking a notable increase compared to the same period last year. The company also recorded consolidated revenues of ₹86.14 crore for Q1, showing a sharp rise of more than 165% from ₹34.04 crore in Q1 of the previous fiscal year.

Several factors contributed to the company’s profit growth this quarter. RMC achieved strong progress across its Electrical EPC and Electrical Products divisions, driven by higher order volumes and timely completion of projects. This efficient execution helped boost revenue and maintain healthy operating margins.

The company also entered the quarter with a robust order book valued at over ₹700 crore, providing clear visibility into future operations. Key projects under this pipeline include a 50 MW rooftop solar installation in Rajasthan and an underground cabling and RMU development in Gujarat. These long-term contracts ensure a consistent workload, allowing for better resource planning and enhanced profitability.

Additionally, RMC invested ₹2.6 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, RMC Green Energy Private Limited, to expand its solar module manufacturing capabilities. This backward integration strategy aims to reduce procurement costs, secure critical supply chains, and improve overall margins within its renewable energy business.

Ankit Agrawal, CEO and Whole-Time Director, stated, “Our Q1 results demonstrate the strength of our execution and financial discipline as we expand across multiple infrastructure sectors. Supported by a strong order book, improved governance, and new investments in renewable manufacturing, we remain optimistic about maintaining solid profitability in the upcoming quarters.”
