Quality Power Electrical Equipments Limited (BSE: 544367; NSE: QPOWER), a key player in critical energy transition equipment and advanced power technologies, announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company delivered another solid quarter of growth, supported by strong international demand for high-voltage systems, strategic technology partnerships, and capacity expansion initiatives.

Commenting on the results, Bharanidharan Pandyan, Joint Managing & Whole-time Director, said, “The global high-voltage industry is witnessing sustained growth driven by the clean energy transition, renewable integration, and grid modernization. Although capacity additions remain robust, supply constraints in engineered electrical components are creating long-term opportunities for technology leaders. At Quality Power, we are leveraging this global momentum through strong order inflows, technology integration, and disciplined execution. Our continued investments in automation and process innovation are improving reliability, agility, and competitiveness across our operations.”

Quality Power recorded a robust quarter, driven by healthy execution in HVDC and FACTS projects. The company secured several significant international orders across utilities, renewable developers, industrial networks, and data centers, reinforcing its role as a global partner in grid stability and power-quality systems. The consolidated order book now stands at approximately ₹830 crore, offering strong revenue visibility and diversified exposure across geographies.

Quality Power has taken major strides in advancing its technological capabilities through strategic collaborations and investments. Its subsidiary, Mehru Electrical & Mechanical Engineers Pvt Ltd, has partnered with Hyosung T&D India Ltd., a subsidiary of Korea’s Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation, to jointly design and manufacture Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) instrument transformers. This collaboration positions Mehru among the first Indian companies to co-develop GIS technology for international markets, creating new opportunities in key sectors such as metro rail networks, offshore wind projects, and urban transmission infrastructure.

In parallel, Quality Power strengthened its digital and automation capabilities by increasing its stake in Nebeskie Labs Pvt Ltd to 26%. This move enhances the company’s expertise in AI-driven analytics, edge computing, and IoT-enabled condition monitoring. Nebeskie’s advanced digital platforms are playing a pivotal role in the evolution of intelligent substations and next-generation grid automation, aligning with Quality Power’s broader vision of integrating digital intelligence across its product portfolio.

Quality Power’s capacity expansion and integration initiatives are progressing strongly across key facilities. The Global Coil Factory at Kupwad MIDC, Sangli, remains ahead of schedule and is expected to be commissioned before June 2026. The Cochin expansion is set to go live by December 2025, adding significant capacity for dry-type coil production. Meanwhile, Mehru’s Bhiwadi facility continues its phased upgrade program, targeting a 45% capacity increase by April 2026.

In addition, the company is setting up a new magnet-wire manufacturing line, a critical element in its HVDC and FACTS value chain, as part of its backward integration strategy. These developments collectively aim to enhance manufacturing efficiency, strengthen supply chain resilience, reduce lead times, and improve the company’s ability to deliver advanced engineered components to global clients.

Operationally, the company’s disciplined approach and focus on export-led growth contributed to improved margins during the quarter. Mehru Electrical recorded an EBITDA margin of nearly 12%, driven by robust high-voltage export orders and better price realizations. Excluding one-time provisions, profitability across all group entities remained stable, reflecting the positive impact of process optimization, cost management, and steady market demand.

Looking ahead, Quality Power expects to maintain its growth momentum, supported by a strong order pipeline and increasing global investments in grid modernization. The company’s immediate strategic priorities include scaling production of HVDC and FACTS components, broadening its GIS product portfolio, and deepening backward integration of key materials. It also plans to explore inorganic opportunities in high-voltage and power electronics while strengthening partnerships with global OEMs and utilities to advance collaborative technology development.  “Our focus is on deepening technology capabilities, embedding digital intelligence into every product, and positioning India as a global hub for advanced high-voltage systems,” added Mr Pandyan.
