Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd, one of India’s leading building materials companies, has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting strong operational and financial performance while advancing its long-term capacity expansion strategy. The company achieved consolidated cement sales volumes of 5.3 million metric tonnes (MMT) during the first quarter of FY27, registering a 5% year-on-year growth. Consolidated total income increased 9% year-on-year to Rs. 3,129 crore, while EBITDA rose 7% to Rs. 572 crore, marking the highest first-quarter EBITDA in the company’s history. Profit After Tax (PAT) grew 20% year-on-year to Rs. 160 crore, reflecting sustained operational efficiency and disciplined cost management.
A key milestone during the quarter was the inauguration of the 2 MMTPA grinding unit at the Limla Cement Plant in Surat on July 11, 2026. Commissioned ahead of schedule, the facility strengthens Nuvoco’s manufacturing footprint in Western India and is expected to improve regional supply while releasing capacity at the company’s Rajasthan plants to cater to demand in Northern India.
Construction activities at the Kutch project continue as planned, with phased operationalisation scheduled to begin from the third quarter of FY27. The company has also commenced work on a bulk cement terminal at Viramgam, Sachana, Gujarat, featuring a dedicated railway siding. Targeted for commissioning by the second quarter of FY28, the terminal will enhance distribution capabilities and support deeper market penetration across Gujarat. These initiatives form part of Nuvoco’s expansion programme, which is expected to increase its total cement manufacturing capacity to 35 MMTPA by FY28.
Commenting on the results, Jayakumar Krishnaswamy, Managing Director, Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd, said the company delivered a strong start to the financial year despite macroeconomic and geopolitical challenges. He noted that higher EBITDA and PAT reflected resilient execution, supported by operational efficiencies and prudent cost management. He added that the early commissioning of the Limla grinding unit highlights the company’s project execution capabilities and reinforces its commitment to disciplined capital allocation as it progresses with the remaining expansion projects.
Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Limited operates across cement, ready-mix concrete and modern building materials. The company reported revenue from operations of ₹10,357 crore in FY25 and continues to focus on capacity expansion, operational efficiency and product portfolio strengthening to support long-term growth.
