Mphasis and TechnoPro Holdings have signed a strategic agreement to accelerate AI-led enterprise transformation in Japan. The partnership will bring Mphasis’ Modernize™ and Optimize™ offerings to Japanese businesses, helping companies upgrade legacy systems, improve business processes and strengthen decision-making through artificial intelligence.
TechnoPro Holdings, Japan’s largest technology-focused engineering staffing and IT solutions provider, will combine its engineering network and client relationships with Mphasis’ capabilities in AI, enterprise modernization and digital transformation. As part of the agreement, TechnoPro Holdings will introduce Mphasis Modernize™ and Mphasis Optimize™, built on Mphasis Tria™, the company’s Enterprise Agency platform. The solutions will help Japanese enterprises modernize older technology systems, improve software development, increase operational efficiency and support better business decisions.
The partnership will initially focus on the financial services and manufacturing sectors. The companies will also explore opportunities across other industries, including automotive and technology. Mphasis Modernize™ will support legacy system renewal and help simplify software development. Mphasis Optimize™ will focus on improving business operations, decision support and overall productivity through AI.
The companies will also use Mphasis NeoIP™ and Mphasis Tria™ to create development and operating environments where TechnoPro engineers can work alongside AI agents. These solutions are supported by Mphasis Ontosphere™, a continuously evolving knowledge platform that combines business intelligence with AI-assisted implementation.
TechnoPro Holdings will deploy Mphasis Tria™ across its own operations. The platform will support software development through automated code generation and testing while also bringing AI into areas such as talent allocation, recruitment, sales matching and corporate planning. The companies plan to use TechnoPro’s operations as a large-scale environment for AI deployment. Successful workflows can then be developed into industry-specific solutions for customers, particularly in automotive and manufacturing.
Nitin Rakesh, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mphasis, said Japan is an important growth market as companies increase investments in digital transformation and AI. He said the partnership will combine Mphasis’ AI platforms with TechnoPro’s relationships across Japan’s automotive, manufacturing, technology and financial services sectors.
Gaku Shimaoka, President, Representative Director and CEO, TechnoPro Holdings, said the company aims to become Japan’s largest AI-implementation company. Around 30,000 TechnoPro engineers and researchers work directly at customer sites, giving the company extensive knowledge of development, manufacturing and IT operations.
The agreement comes as Japanese enterprises seek to modernize ageing technology infrastructure while dealing with talent shortages and growing business complexity. The two companies aim to use AI and engineering expertise to help customers improve productivity, operations and business growth.
