Mouser Electronics, Inc, a global leader in New Product Introduction (NPI) and distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, has expanded its product lineup to include a wider range of solutions engineered specifically for wearable electronics. With the wearables market witnessing accelerated growth across healthcare, consumer, and industrial applications, engineers are increasingly challenged to deliver compact, energy-efficient, and feature-rich devices.

This rising demand is driving innovation in miniaturised, low-power components such as NFC modules, wireless solutions, chip antennas, and MEMS sensors that enhance device performance and connectivity while extending battery life. Among Mouser’s newly introduced offerings are several advanced components designed to meet the stringent requirements of modern wearables.

Infineon Technologies’ NBT2000 OPTIGA™ NBT NFC Bridge Tag facilitates secure and high-speed communication between microcontrollers and NFC-enabled devices, ideal for pairing and configuration in smart wearables. The dual-interface design supports both passive NFC and I²C connections, enabling fast data exchange with low system overhead while reducing Bill of Materials (BOM) and antenna size.

The Murata Type 2FY Wireless Connectivity Module delivers tri-band Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® LE 5.4 connectivity in a compact 7.9mm × 7.3mm × 1.1mm package, supporting Linux and i.MX Yocto environments—perfect for wearables and XR devices. Complementing these are the Abracon AANI-CH Bluetooth/Wi-Fi chip antennas, available in ultra-compact ceramic packages that ensure strong signal performance and thermal stability. These antennas are suited for space-constrained designs in applications such as smart medical wearables, hearables, home automation systems, and IoT tracking devices.

Through this expanded range, Mouser continues to empower design engineers with the latest innovations for creating smaller, smarter, and more power-efficient wearable technologies that redefine mobility and connectivity across multiple industries. As a global leader in semiconductor and electronic component distribution, Mouser serves the electronic design engineering community with a comprehensive inventory of over 6.8 million products from more than 1,200 manufacturers.

With 28 support locations worldwide, Mouser ensures excellent customer service in multiple languages and time zones. Mouser’s state-of-the-art distribution facility, located in the Dallas, Texas metro area, ships to over 650,000 customers across 223 countries and territories.
