L&T GeoStructure, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has secured multiple significant orders across India, reinforcing its leadership in complex foundation engineering and marine infrastructure development. Among the key wins is the company’s largest-ever piling contract, awarded by JSW Utkal Steel Ltd for the upcoming 10 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Paradeep. The project encompasses nine major packages and includes piling works for critical facilities such as the Blast Furnace, Hot Strip Mill and Steel Melting Shop. The scope involves execution of nearly 30 lakh running metres of piling within demanding project timelines, underscoring the scale and complexity of the assignment.

In another major development, the company has secured two engineering, procurement and construction contracts from the Inland Waterways Authority of India for the establishment of Ship Repair Facilities at Patna and Varanasi. The advanced facilities will feature modern Ship Lift and Transfer Systems, including 800-tonne boat hoists designed to support repair and maintenance operations for inland vessels.

The projects are expected to play a critical role in strengthening the inland water transport ecosystem along National Waterway-1 on the River Ganga. By enhancing vessel maintenance capabilities and improving operational efficiency, the facilities are set to contribute to the growth of sustainable and cost-effective cargo movement through inland waterways.

Adding to its portfolio of marine infrastructure projects, L&T GeoStructure has also secured an order from the Mumbai Port Authority for the construction of India’s first yacht marina at Mumbai Harbour. The project will include an approach trestle, piled breakwater, service platforms, concrete pontoons and gangways to facilitate safe and efficient yacht operations.

The marina is expected to elevate Mumbai’s position as an international maritime tourism destination while supporting India’s broader blue economy initiatives. These new orders further strengthen L&T GeoStructure’s presence across strategic sectors and highlight its capability to deliver technically demanding infrastructure projects that support industrial growth, transportation efficiency and maritime development in the country.

Larsen & Toubro, a USD 30 billion diversified engineering and infrastructure conglomerate, continues to reinforce its leadership across EPC, manufacturing, and services. With an established global footprint and a focus on high-quality execution, the company remains poised to capitalize on emerging opportunities across its core markets.
