Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission and Distribution (PT&D) division has secured new contracts for grid infrastructure projects both within India and internationally. In India, the company has been awarded a contract to construct 765kV and 400kV transmission lines to support the integration of a Renewable Energy Zone in Andhra Pradesh.
In the Middle East, the division will undertake turnkey projects for 220kV and 132kV Gas Insulated Substations. These contracts have been placed by prominent transmission operators in the region.
