Larsen & Toubro (L&T) M&M business has secured a significant contract from Hindalco to develop an 850 KTPA greenfield alumina refinery in Odisha. The scope includes engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPC), reinforcing L&T’s role as a key partner in Hindalco’s expansion initiatives.
L&T has collaborated with Hindalco for over three decades, contributing as an EPC contractor in the development of its alumina, aluminum, and copper plants. This latest contract underscores Hindalco’s confidence in L&T’s expertise and reliability in executing large-scale projects.
Additionally, M&M has secured an order to build an 8 MTPA Pellet Plant for a leading Indian steel producer. The project, undertaken in partnership with reputed technology providers, covers engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation.
