Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company in the power and infrastructure sector, has announced new orders and notifications of award worth approximately ₹2,957 crore. The contracts have been secured by the company and its international subsidiaries across its Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Buildings & Factories (B&F), and Water business verticals.
The latest order wins include Power Transmission & Distribution projects in India as well as overseas markets, Buildings & Factories contracts from domestic clients, and a Water project in the Middle East secured through a joint venture/consortium. The new projects further strengthen KPIL’s order pipeline while expanding its presence across key infrastructure segments and international markets.
The order in the Middle East marks the company’s entry into the region’s water infrastructure sector, adding a new geography to its growing portfolio. The project is expected to support KPIL’s strategy of expanding its international business in sectors with long-term infrastructure investment opportunities.
Commenting on the development, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Kalpataru Projects International Limited, said, “We are pleased to secure new orders across our Power Transmission & Distribution, Buildings & Factories and Water business verticals. The continued flow of orders in our T&D business reinforces our leadership position in India and select international markets. At the same time, repeat business from leading clients in the Buildings & Factories segment reflects the confidence they place in our execution capabilities and project delivery. Our first Water project in the Middle East represents an important strategic milestone and opens opportunities in a market with significant infrastructure development potential.”
He added that the company’s diversified order book and healthy project pipeline provide strong visibility for future growth. “With a balanced portfolio across sectors and geographies, we remain well positioned to achieve our growth objectives during FY2026-27,” Mr Mohnot said.
KPIL has continued to expand its presence across multiple infrastructure segments by leveraging its engineering expertise, execution capabilities and international footprint. The company’s operations span power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and treatment, railways, oil and gas infrastructure, urban mobility, highways and airports.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, KPIL reported consolidated revenue of ₹27,143 crore, net profit of ₹1,031 crore, and an order book of ₹65,457 crore.
