Keolis India Pvt Ltd has selected Octave Attune EAM as the Enterprise Asset Management platform for Pune Metro Line 3, marking a key step in strengthening digital infrastructure for the city’s expanding metro network. The announcement represents a notable win for Octave, which secures a major metro project in India’s fast-growing urban mobility sector. Pune Metro Line 3, currently under development, spans approximately 23 kilometers with 23 stations and is expected to significantly improve connectivity between key commercial and residential hubs.
The new corridor will link the Shivajinagar business district with the Hinjewadi IT hub, a major employment center, helping reduce travel time and ease congestion in one of Pune’s busiest corridors. The project is being executed under a Public-Private Partnership model, with Keolis awarded a 10-year contract for operations and maintenance.
Under this engagement, Attune EAM will support the complete lifecycle management of metro assets, including trains, tracks, civil infrastructure, utilities and fare collection systems. The platform was selected following a detailed evaluation process involving technical assessments and demonstrations, supported by its track record within the Keolis group globally.
The solution will be deployed through a Software-as-a-Service model and includes embedded artificial intelligence capabilities to support predictive maintenance and operational insights. As the metro line moves through its commissioning phase, the system will play a central role in establishing a comprehensive digital asset register, ensuring accurate tracking and management from day one.
The implementation will also include advanced maintenance strategies such as reliability-centered maintenance and integration with enterprise systems including ERP, BIM and operational technologies. This approach is expected to improve system reliability, enhance safety and optimise lifecycle performance.
Keolis Group operates transport networks across multiple countries, covering metro, tram and bus systems. Its Indian subsidiary has been set up specifically to deliver operations and maintenance services for Pune Metro Line 3.
Octave provides software solutions designed to manage complex infrastructure assets across their lifecycle, enabling organisations to convert operational data into actionable insights. The company continues to expand its presence in transportation, supporting operators with digital tools that improve efficiency and resilience. The project is expected to play a key role in advancing Pune’s urban mobility ecosystem by delivering reliable, efficient and technology-enabled public transport services.
