Juniper Green Signs Deals for 480 MW Solar-Wind Hybrid Projects

Juniper Green Energy has signed two agreements to supply 480 MW of electricity from its solar-wind hybrid projects to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) and NTPC. The GUVNL Hybrid Phase 1 project includes 190 MW of capacity (140 MW solar and 50 MW wind) and will produce 412 million units of electricity annually. This will reduce 384,067 tonnes of CO2 and supply clean energy to 82,016 homes.

The NTPC Hybrid Tranche -1 project consists of 290 MW of capacity (210 MW solar and 80 MW wind) in Gujarat and Rajasthan. It will generate 633 million units of electricity per year, cutting carbon emissions by 590,810 tonnes and powering 126,165 homes.

“These strategic partnerships with GUVNL and NTPC signify more than just contracts; they represent our collaborative efforts towards pioneering hybrid energy solutions,” said Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy.
