The Board of Directors of Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has approved and announced the company’s financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, reflecting steady volume growth and improved profitability across operations. During the quarter, JSL achieved sales volumes of 6,49,857 tonnes, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.6%.

Standalone net revenue for the period stood at ₹10,632 crore, registering a growth of 5.6% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Standalone earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose to ₹1,103 crore, up 10% year-on-year, while profit after tax (PAT) increased to ₹666 crore, reflecting a growth of 7.6%.

On a consolidated basis, the company reported net revenue of ₹10,518 crore, marking a 6.2% year-on-year increase. Consolidated EBITDA was recorded at ₹1,408 crore, up 16.6% over the same period last year, while consolidated PAT stood at ₹828 crore, registering a growth of 26.6%. As of December 31, 2025, consolidated net debt was ₹3,451 crore, with a healthy net debt-to-equity ratio of 0.18x.

The Board has also approved an interim dividend of 50%, amounting to ₹1 per equity share of face value ₹2 for the financial year 2025–26. January 29, 2026 has been fixed as the record date for determining shareholder eligibility, and the dividend will be paid on or before February 19, 2026.

The company’s performance during the quarter was supported by a strong product mix, continued improvements in operating efficiency and a sharper focus on customer engagement. Domestic demand remained stable, driven by consumption from sectors such as automotive, ornamental pipes and tubes, railways and metro projects, and white goods. This momentum was aided by ongoing infrastructure investments, increased adoption of efficient vertical transportation systems and expanding urban transit networks.

The quarter also witnessed continued pressure from increased imports routed through free trade agreement channels, particularly from China and certain ASEAN countries such as Vietnam. These inflows of low-priced and subsidised material continued to impact market dynamics, especially for Indian MSMEs. Despite these challenges, Jindal Stainless was able to defend its market position through competitive pricing, a strong distribution footprint and targeted customer initiatives, including the Jindal Saathi Seal, QR code-based authentication and loyalty programmes.

Internationally, export demand remained subdued amid global trade uncertainties and protectionist policies in key markets, including the United States and the European Union. In response, the company continued to prioritise the domestic market while calibrating export volumes, with a focus on delivering customised, value-added solutions to long-standing global customers.

India’s foremost stainless steel producer, Jindal Stainless, reported an annual revenue of INR 40,182 crore (USD 4.75 billion) in FY25 and is expanding its manufacturing footprint to achieve an annual melt capacity of 4.2 million tonnes by FY27.
