Hindustan Zinc (BSE: 500188; NSE: HINDZINC), the world’s largest integrated zinc producer and one of the leading global silver producers, has earned major international recognition with its Integrated Annual Report (IAR) for FY25 receiving the Platinum Worldwide honour at the LACP (League of American Communications Professionals) Spotlight Awards 2025 in the 1–10 billion USD revenue category. The company has secured the top position in India and placed sixth globally, making it the only Indian organisation to feature in this year’s Global Top 10.

The FY25 IAR was commended for its cohesive narrative, modern design and clarity of communication, achieving an exceptional score of 99 out of 100, among the highest across all submissions. The LACP Spotlight Awards are internationally regarded as a benchmark for excellence in corporate reporting and communication, with the 2025 edition drawing over 500 entries from organisations across sectors worldwide.

Arun Misra, CEO of Hindustan Zinc, said the achievement reflects the organisation’s commitment to integrity and transparency. He stated that responsible governance and stakeholder trust lie at the heart of the company’s ethos, and that this global honour underscores the credibility, depth and integrated approach embedded in its reporting. He added that being named a Platinum Worldwide winner and ranking within the global Top 10 highlights the dedication and world-class capabilities of the company’s teams.

The recognition marks a substantial leap of 41 positions from the previous year’s global rank of 47. Hindustan Zinc has demonstrated consistent excellence at the LACP Spotlight Awards over the years, with notable past positions including Gold wins for the Integrated Annual Report in 2024, 2023 and 2022, a Special Achievement Award in 2021 and a Silver award for its Annual Report in 2020. The Platinum honour reinforces the company’s leadership in responsible, transparent and stakeholder-focused reporting and strengthens India’s global standing in corporate disclosures.

The FY25 Integrated Annual Report reflects Hindustan Zinc’s long-term value creation framework, combining financial performance with progress on sustainability, safety, digitalisation, community development and its transition toward a multi-metal, innovation-driven and climate-resilient business model. It also outlines the company’s contribution to India’s critical minerals landscape and the nation’s Viksit Bharat vision as part of the Vedanta Group.

Hindustan Zinc Limited, a Vedanta Group enterprise, is the world’s largest integrated zinc producer and ranks among the top five silver producers globally.
