Hind Rectifiers Names Manoj Nair as Chief Executive Officer

Hind Rectifiers Limited, a prominent manufacturer of Power Semiconductors, Power Electronic Equipment, and Railway Transportation Systems, has announced the appointment of Manoj Nair as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). In this new role, Mr Nair will lead overall operations and spearhead the organisation’s growth agenda.

With more than 30 years of extensive experience across manufacturing, power, infrastructure, and technology-led sectors, he is widely known for his strategic foresight, customer-centric approach, and commitment to driving sustainable growth. His expertise spans scaling businesses, advancing digital transformation, and building resilient, future-ready organisations.

Commenting on the appointment, Suramya Nevatia, Chairman and Managing Director of Hind Rectifiers Limited, said, “We are delighted to welcome Manoj Nair as our new CEO. Before joining Hind Rectifiers, Mr Nair served as CEO of IIMS Limited, part of the CK Birla Group, where he was responsible for business strategy, growth, and operations. Earlier in his career, he held several senior leadership roles at Cummins India Ltd, including Vice President – Power Generation Business, where he strengthened the company’s position in the Indian market and led the introduction of innovative solutions. As Director – Industrial Business, he successfully expanded operations across sectors such as railways, marine, mining, oil & gas, defence, and pumps.

Over the course of his career, Mr Nair has managed large-scale P&L responsibilities, led diverse teams, and executed complex business transformations. He is recognised for fostering high-performance cultures, nurturing talent, and driving collaborations that create long-term value.
