Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year, retaining the highest level of recognition in the global sustainability assessment conducted by EcoVadis. The Platinum rating places the company among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies evaluated worldwide.

EcoVadis assesses organisations across 21 indicators grouped under four areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment framework is aligned with international standards including the UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization conventions, Global Reporting Initiative and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.

Himadri stated that the repeat Platinum rating reflects the integration of sustainability into its governance structure, operational processes and supply chain management. The company has made ongoing investments in energy efficiency, emissions reduction, circular economy initiatives, employee welfare and ESG-aligned disclosures.

Anurag Choudhary, Chairman and Managing Director & CEO of Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd, said the recognition validates the company’s approach to embedding sustainability into business planning and decision-making. He added that sustainability will remain a priority as the company continues to expand its presence across global markets.

EcoVadis ratings are widely used by multinational customers, investors and supply-chain partners as an independent measure of environmental, social and governance performance. Himadri said the continued recognition strengthens its position within international value chains and supports alignment with regulatory and customer expectations.
