HCLTech Launches Gemini Enterprise Business Unit

HCLTech today announced the formation of a dedicated Gemini Enterprise Business Unit designed to advance the adoption of agentic artificial intelligence across industries. This initiative marks a significant step in strengthening its collaboration with Google Cloud and delivering tailored AI-driven solutions for enterprises worldwide.

The newly established business unit will focus on developing industry-specific applications built on Google Gemini Enterprise. By integrating advanced AI capabilities with deep domain expertise, HCLTech aims to help organizations streamline operations, enhance decision-making and achieve measurable business outcomes. These include minimizing unplanned downtime, improving fraud detection frameworks and increasing diagnostic precision across sectors.

The initiative is positioned to support enterprises in transitioning from fragmented and manual workflows to more unified and automated systems powered by intelligent agents. This shift is expected to enable faster insights, improved operational efficiency and scalable innovation.

Kevin Ichhpurani, President of the Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, noting that HCLTech plays a vital role in extending Google Cloud technologies to businesses globally. He emphasized that the combined strengths of both organizations will deliver customized solutions capable of addressing complex enterprise challenges.

Vijay Guntur, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, stated that the launch aligns with the company’s broader strategy to accelerate AI-led transformation for clients. He added that the focus remains on delivering practical solutions that address real-world business needs, whether through infrastructure modernization or the deployment of advanced AI models tailored to specific industries.
