The HARTING Technology Group is introducing advanced connection technology and cable systems designed for an increasingly digital, electrified and automated industry at the “Smart Production Solutions” (SPS) exhibition in Nuremberg from 25 to 27 November 2025. At its 300 m² booth in Hall 10, the company will present a wide range of products, solutions and services for diverse industrial applications. As a leading name in industrial connectivity, HARTING is prioritising intelligent networking across energy, industry, infrastructure and mobility. Its portfolio includes high-performance interfaces capable of reliably transmitting both power and data — forming a key building block for a connected, efficient and future-ready industrial landscape.
HARTING’s standardised data connectors enable seamless communication from field-level sensors all the way to cloud platforms. For power transmission, the company offers durable connectors engineered to perform in demanding conditions, whether exposed to large power loads, strict protection classes or harsh environments.
“Our solutions support the sustainable evolution of industrial ecosystems. At SPS, we will show how smart connection technology optimises processes, conserves resources and ensures long-term system reliability,” notes Norbert Gemmeke, Senior Vice President Global Product Development & Project Management.
As industrial equipment becomes smaller and more intelligent, interface density and performance requirements continue to grow. At SPS, HARTING will display innovative compact connectors such as the Han-Modular® Domino modules, which offer both space efficiency and configuration flexibility. The company will also highlight its board-to-board and board-to-cable solutions developed for smart automation systems — rugged, consistent and well-suited for integrated production environments.
Visitors will also be introduced to digital engineering tools including the Digital Twin and Product Data Passport. These resources support streamlined device integration and product development. Through the myHARTING platform, users can access unified and transparent product data to simplify their design workflows.
A key focus at the exhibition will be new pre-assembled and modular plug-and-play solutions, created to simplify and accelerate the setup of industrial automation systems. These systems shorten installation time, minimise configuration errors and help address workforce shortages and growing technical complexity.
One notable innovation is the D-Sub PushPull connector. It merges the familiar D-Sub format with an enhanced tool-free locking mechanism. The PushPull design ensures quick installation, improved handling and secure mating — making it particularly suitable for industrial environments and retrofit applications.
Further highlights include advanced process tools and semi-automated technologies aimed at increasing assembly efficiency and consistency. Among them is a new crimping machine capable of automatically processing taped turned contacts — accelerating workflows by up to 80% for cross-sections up to 70 A/10–25 mm².
The company will also demonstrate handheld and pneumatic crimping tools for cable dimensions of 0.14–10 mm², as well as multifunctional workstations for live demonstrations. Together, these developments reinforce HARTING’s role as a driving force in the evolution of connected, sustainable industrial ecosystems — demonstrating how modern connectivity directly supports efficiency, resilience and environmental responsibility.
