The move marks an important milestone in the company’s long-term India strategy and reinforces its alignment with the Government of India’s Make in India programme.
India continues to play a central role in GIGABYTE’s global expansion plans, and the start of domestic production reflects the company’s intent to deepen localisation, strengthen supply chains and support the country’s ambition to emerge as a global electronics manufacturing hub. The company has commenced its localisation journey with motherboard manufacturing and plans to gradually expand production to include monitors and laptops. This phased approach will enhance product availability, improve cost competitiveness and reduce reliance on imports, while ensuring faster delivery to customers across the country.
