VNC Group has announced a comprehensive packaging and brand identity refresh for GECO, marking a significant step in its evolution within the tile and stone fixing solutions segment. The redesign spans GECO’s full portfolio, including tile adhesives, grouts, sealants, and tapes, presenting a cohesive and contemporary visual identity.
The refreshed packaging introduces a distinctive and modern design language aimed at improving visibility and recall across retail and trade environments. Moving away from conventional, text-heavy packaging commonly seen in the category, the new identity adopts a cleaner, more vibrant aesthetic. This shift positions GECO as a forward-looking brand in a segment traditionally dominated by functional, industrial presentation styles.
At the core of the new identity is GECO’s gecko mascot, symbolising strength, grip, and reliability—qualities closely associated with the brand’s product performance. The updated design also incorporates a bold “G” insignia along with a striking blue and magenta colour palette, creating a recognisable and unified brand presence across all product lines.
Commenting on the development, Gokul Basker, Brand Founder of GECO and Partner at VNC Group, stated that the new identity reflects a clear focus on enhancing brand visibility while maintaining consistency in product performance. He noted that the redesign aims to bring clarity and modernity to the category, without altering the core functionality and reliability that customers expect from GECO products.
The development follows increasing industry acknowledgment of GECO’s growing presence. In 2024, the brand was recognised among the Top 10 Adhesives and Sealants Manufacturers by Industry Outlook, highlighting its emphasis on quality, dependable performance, and service standards.
GECO’s product range is designed to support construction professionals and end-users with efficient and reliable solutions across various applications. Drawing inspiration from natural engineering principles, the brand continues to focus on durability, ease of use, and adaptability in its offerings.
